The Hotel

The New Brighton Hotel was the seaside resort of New Brighton's very first hotel, and the earliest building on Victoria Road. It ws built in 1820 as a private dwelling and later converted to a hotel in 1839. It has gone under many names, such as The Neptune, Peggy Gadflys, after a one legged diver that used to dive for coins off the New Brighton Pier and Lacys before it was returned to the original name by the current owners in 2018.
